Speaking of lean, I find that if I have it in the upright landscape holder mode, like in the video, although the iPad won't fall backwards, it sure is prone to fall directly onto it's flat glass face with any minor bump from the rear.
I own one, yet fail to see it's full utility. If I'm using the iPad at home, I need a silicone case or some thing to give it some grip when I hold it, and the face needs little or no protection on my coffee table. But if I'm out and about, sliding into my book bag, etc., I need serious all-the-way-around protection and some drop protection. None with this SmartCase.
So, it sort of sits there in limboland, pretty as all get out, but accomplishing little.

Pure and utter genius! That is amazing and so well done it is scary. All this "Lean Thinking" stuff in its physical form.
True enough. Except for the fact that it doesn't protect the iPad back or sides at all, and is forty smackers, I suppose it is fairly "lean".
