But it won;t interfere with spending some time with you and yours when you arrive. I will have to plan accorindgly for the pace of it, all that's a fact.Coolkayaker1https://www.blogger.com/profile/16480679419271233314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1274670028493188551.post-14334064282438455732010-10-26T00:33:55.775-05:002010-10-26T00:33:55.775-05:00Oh... best if luck with this. Precious little time to rework the plot if you reach a dead end or slow section... obviously will need to develop characters early so we care what happens to them in the end.

Disconnecting the pace of the story from the pace of the writing may prove challenging. Move too slowly and we'll poop out (technical term) and lose interest... too quick and you will end up with a short story.

My inclination is that in the hectic 1700 word per day cadence, the story could develop too quickly and reach an impass at page 75.

Plan well and you will succeed.... good luck!!White Ford Falconhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15737443116067533584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1274670028493188551.post-63369109692589339832010-10-26T00:21:09.127-05:002010-10-26T00:21:09.127-05:00Looking forward to picking up either at my local B...Looking forward to picking up either at my local Borders... LOL!

Honestly, I like both plots. Think the lakehouse build would be a bit easier to complete within the month. I also feel that it could have broader market appeal in terms of taking it forward.

I can picture Oprah's book club ranting about the dying man and his desire to leave an emotional and physical legacy with his boys. Less likely to hear her touting a book about crazed townfolk that plot to kill their children.White Ford Falconhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15737443116067533584noreply@blogger.com
